1. The Museum of the Secler Gates
After parking, signposts direct us right down a wide alleyway towards The Museum of the Secler Gates or the Gallery of the Secler Gates. This is an open-air museum.
The traditional Secler gate is carved in wood and often painted in bright colors. The Museum of Secler Gates presents 16 monumental, painted gates, rescued from various Secler villages and restored. The museum is the 1973 initiative of Mihály Kovács continued by György Vofkori.
