12. Schullerwald

To the west of Bistrița lies the forest Schullerwald. During the interwar period, country celebrations were organized here. In the forest you can go cycling, walking, jogging. There are several observatories and facilities for children. I found the access inhospitable.

Invitation

I consider Bistrița a tourist destination worth considering. The city presents itself well. I would be happy to see the restoration of the Evangelical Church completed as soon as possible. From Bistrița there is a generous view of the Rodna Mountains to the north, where the highest mountain peak in the Eastern Carpathians, the peak of Pietrosul Rodnei - 2,303 meters above sea level. The Bistrita region is also famous for the palinca produced here.

Visit Bistrița! All the best!
