2. Blacksmith's forge and room with old accessories
Close to the water mill, visitors can discover a small traditional blacksmith's shop and a room housing various accessories and old tools collected by locals over generations. This space acts as a natural complement to the visit, giving a broader insight into the crafts that were the basis of daily life in Rimetea.
The smithy preserves the atmosphere of yesteryear: wooden sickles, an anvil, hammers, pieces of iron worked by hand and the remains of nails or horseshoes. It is the place where you can understand how important the blacksmith was to the community and how the tools used in the household were painstakingly made.
The old accessories room functions like a small local museum. Here you can see peasant objects, milling pieces, household utensils and rare traditional items, each with its own story. Together, the smithy and this collection create an authentic universe that perfectly complements the experience of a visit to the Rimetea water mill and offers a unique insight into Transylvanian rural life.
