1. Central Lake or Fish Lake
Fish Lake is a man-made lake, created in the inter-war period, in which various species of fish swim and offers a relaxing landscape with a bridge and a small island.
Regina Maria Municipal Park is located at 57 Valea Roșie Street in the municipality of Baia Mare. It has several entrances from this street, but you can also come from Petőfi Sándor Street. The park is open dailythroughout the year, and access is free. Several nearby paid parking. Easy to find, accessible and perfect for a green break in Baia Mare.
Regina Maria Municipal Park Baia Mare is an emblematic place of the city, with a history dating back to the mid-19th century. In 1841, the Homory brothers donated a piece of land to the city for the establishment of a public garden, marking the beginnings of this park. The park covers approximately 8.95 hectares.

The park has several tree-shaded paths. There is also a tartan running track. Over 100 benches are located along the footpaths, providing resting places for visitors. You can exit the landscaped walkways by walking up into the forest on footpaths.
The park has soccer and tennis courts, making it an ideal place for recreational and sporting activities. There is also an area with outdoor gym equipment. There is also a children's playground.
The park hosts various cultural and social events and is a center for community activities. Next to one of the entrances is a wooden gazebo and next to another is a place called the Bastion.
