Chindia Park in Targoviste is located on Calea Domnească and has only one entrance. Access by car is allowed on the right half of the access gate.

Parking is free in a space on the right, next to a restaurant.

The park is open 24 hours a day and access is free.
The park also has Zooto the left of the main alley, and a lake at the end opposite the entrance.

About Chindia Park

Chindia Park, like the Targoviste Zoo, have a long history. When Prince Petru Cercel moved the capital to Targoviste and the Princely Court was being developed, he set up a royal gardenThe garden is located just behind the Royal Court.
The park was laid out in 1970.

1. The Alley of the 33 Princes

As soon as you go down into the park, the zoo stretches off to the left of the main alley, the one with the busts of the rulers. It is The Alley of the 33 Princes. It was inaugurated in 2006. There are actually 2 parallel alleys between which is a large green space. At the entrance on Voievozilor alley there is a green space with the name of Targoviste.

The Avenue of the Voivodes has benches where you can rest.

In the middle of space sees is statue of Vlad Tepes.

2. Lake

At the end of the main alleys is an artificial recreational lake. Here you can go boating and hydrobiking.
We can end our pleasant walk in Chindia Park by stopping at a restaurant.
