Central Park SImion Bărnuțiu Cluj-Napoca is framed by the streets Splaiul Independenței, Arany János, Cișmigiu, Cardinal Iuliu Hossu and George Coșbuc. As landmarks it lies between the Hungarian State Opera and Cluj Arena, and on its long side is the Someșul Mic canal. For those coming with tourists I recommend parking on Cardinal iuliu Hossu street. By public transportation you can get to Chios station with lines 30 or M26, respectively Hungarian Opera East station for tram line 101. The train station is 2.5 km from the park and 1 km to the center. The Central Park is always open and free of charge. The Romanian Heart Foundation invites citizens in Simion Bărnuțiu Central Park on two circuits, one 1.5 km long around the inner circumference of the park and another 0.6 km long around Lake Chios. We start our walk by entering the park from Cardinal Iuliu Hossu Street and after a few steps we are already on the alley that surrounds the park Lake Chios.
