It is located on the street named after the poet. Bacaul is also called "Bacovia's city". A Bacovia memorial house also exists in Bucharest. The memorial house in Bacau dates back to the 19th century and is the house where the poet lived for 22 years. The house has been open to visitors since 1971 and has been declared a historical monument.

6. Lake Bacău II

Although in some sources it is presented as a tourist attraction, I found only a reservoir covered mostly with reeds. The lake is fed by the Bistrita river. Up to its right bank we traveled an unpaved and unfriendly road. On the earth bank of the lake you can bike or run.

Conclusions

I was left with a very strong impression about how Bacau looks from a tourist point of view.

All the best!
