Access

in the village of Nemeși, commune of Vidra, Alba county, is the starting point to Pișoaia Waterfall. Right next to the DJ762 there is a parking lot, with payment, for access to two tourist attractions - Pișoaia Waterfall and Dealul cu Melci. From Alba Iulia there are 97 km to cover by road in 2 hours via DN74 / DN74A / DN75 / DJ762. There are mobile kiosks with products in the parking lot. The route to the waterfall is well signposted from the parking lot.

Pișoaia Waterfall is a spectacular, easily accessible tourist attraction. So anyone who wants to take a 30-minute round trip can get here. There are also tourists who come by coach to visit this place.

From the parking lot, follow the red dot to the right. Immediately cross the Arieșul Mic and go through the village of Nemeși following the map or the signs.

2. Pișoaia Waterfall (700 mdm)

Pișoaia Waterfall is located in the nature reserve Pișoaia, which covers 5 hectares. The waterfall was formed on a rocky limestone sill and has a drop of 18 meters. Several strands, streams, rivulets of water break apart and flow or drip spectacularly over the moss-covered travertine.

Conclusion

Pișoaia Waterfall is a very easily accessible tourist attraction after a half-hour walk. The scenery surrounding the waterfall made of travertine limestone, mosses and falling water is spectacular.
