About Blooms Experience and the tulip field

Tulips are believed to have originated in the Pamir Mountains. They were noticed by the Ottomans, who began to cultivate them. Then they spread because of their beauty. Today, the Netherlands is considered the Land of Tulips, home to the greatest diversity of tulip species. At Patroaia Hill, two young people with initiative have cultivated 30,000 square meters of 600 varieties of tulips, with 1.5 million bulbs.

1. Exhibition

The exhibition of tulips is fascinating in its diversity and color, each plot is marked with the variety of tulip grown. No breaking of flowers is allowed in the exhibition area. Here are some names: Dow Jones, Jinan, Paul Scherer, Memphis, Noordeinde, Carola, Rococo Double, Neglige, Columbus, Flaming Memory, Ad Rem, Suncatcher, Rems Favourite, Isaak Chic, Purple Power, Sun Lover, Cacharel, Picking Garden Deluxe, Flaming Springgreen, Flaming Springgreen, Red Dress, Indeland, Fritz Kreisler, Pinza, Danceline.

2. The asses

To the right of the exhibit, looking as we entered, are other rows of multiple varieties of tulips, separated from the exhibit by an irrigation canal, over which are built several wooden bridges. From here visitors can pick tulips, but leave the bulbs in the ground. At the exit, company employees tie tulips into bunches, which are then paid for by cash or card at 3 lei or 1.5 lei per bunch.

3. Organization, agricultural machinery

The first surprise was the overcrowding and huge interest in this tulip field that makes you think you are in Holland. Parking is problematic from this motov. In the tulip field area we appreciated the consistent number of staff to ensure entry and payment as smooth as possible. At the entrance to the plots some farm machinery is on display, including an old tractor. There are also a few places to rest, buy something to eat and drink.
