1. Mineralogy Sector
Mineralogy also has an aesthetic branch. It refers to minerals with an attractive appearance and coloring. Well-known are 'mine flowers' or 'stone flowers'. Crystals such as pink rhodochrosite, cubic galenite, tetrahedral sphalerite, prismatic gypsum, prismatic quartz or antimonite forming hedgehog shapes are the most spectacular minerals. Native minerals such as gold and copper are also on display. The mineralogical sector is arranged on either side of the staircases leading to the first floor.
